The members of ZIP168 are focused on community development and outreach for 2019.
Scott Mitchell, President/ CEO of Centre County YMCA, was invited guest speaker for the February 14th meeting at Hotel State College. Scott’s inspirational presentation outlined the wonderful services that the YMCA offers to locals and hard-working families. Over 1300 kids from Centre County schools receive a backpack of food each week to ensure food security on weekends. The positive results of this program are recognized and appreciated throughout the community.
In 2019 the YMCA of Centre County will continue efforts to bring nutritious meals, healthcare screening and much needed services through a traveling, mobile program.
