Ted Oyler Thanks his Clients with an Annual Shredding Event. Fun!
Each year Ted Oyler, CFP, invites his valued clients to different client appreciation events to thank them for their business. As Ted has met clients over the years through his profession, he has built not only lasting client relationships, but also many friendships. To express his thankfulness for the client relationships, each fall he hosts a shredding event, providing an Industrial shredding Truck for their use.
Clients are invited to come to Ted’s home and enjoy brunch provided by Dan Rallis & Catering with Style. Dan Rallis has won many culinary awards and is considered to be one of the top caterers in central Pennsylvania. As the guests relax, enjoy top-notch food and catch up with familiar faces, their confidential documents are shred on-site by Knisely Shredding of Lock Haven, Pa.
To close out the gathering, clients have a chance to win prizes in a raffle drawing. Prizes include various food items and gift cards from local businesses in town.
In addition to saying “Thank You” to his clients, Ted also takes the opportunity and uses the occasion to support a local charity.
He shares his passion for giving with the YMCA’s Backpack program. The YMCA gives children a backpack full of food each Friday, so local children will not go hungry over the weekend. The children return the backpack on Monday, and look forward to getting another one filled with food each Friday. (This charity will carry on into the summer months with added programs to feed local families.) Ted’s client’s enjoy being a part of something bigger, and gladly bring along non-perishables and financial donations to support the backpack program.
