Meet Cindy Zimmerman

Cindy grow up in Boalsburg, graduated from Penn State, raised her family and still resides in Happy Valley!!

As a co-owner of Farmers Insurance in State College , she enjoys her career educating people on their insurance needs and requirements. Cindy’s other business, Educational Services and Consulting (ESC) provides the opportunity for individuals to achieve professional goals through specialized education in insurance designations: Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) and Registered Customer Service Representative (RCSR).

At the beginning of her career, Cindy spent 12 years at Raytheon as a recruiter, benefits administrator and strategic planner. She later transitioned to becoming the Vice President of a manufacturing company. Cindy’s knowledge in the insurance industry to understand, educate, negotiate and train employees on insurance programs and coverages have led her to team with individuals and companies to meet their insurance and training needs and requirements.

An avid traveler who enjoys extending her business travel into exploring new places and connecting with fun people. Cindy has always put her family first and her daughters and nephews were regularly brought along for the fun.

Now her grown children live in other states, but Cindy hasn’t slowed down. She has partnered with her daughter Angela at ESC and regularly explores New York City where her eldest daughter Natalie now lives.

Since the days of working on her high school newspaper, Cindy has loved catching images with her camera. A gift from her dear sister Connie, (a professional camera), she is once again taking the time to capture the beauty and tranquility of nature and precious moments that surround her everyday life.
